Keep in mind that a proposed 10, 15 or 20 year warranties are not all the same. You need to make sure that there are not any exclusions that will disqualify your roof from being protected for the entire length of the warranty. An energy-efficient and environmentally friendly roof system that fails after 10 years may take up more landfill space, may lose thermal efficiency as it begins to fail and may not achieve the results that were expected when it was first installed."
